March 2019

Hello, book lovers!

We’re back again for March. This month, the theme is “a book about a culture other than your own.”

I have included a suggested book list, complete with links to the library’s catalog so you can check out the books yourselves. Don’t forget to check the Overdrive app for e-books and audiobooks as well!

See you in a few weeks!

  1. I will be out of town, so will miss this gathering. I did read “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI”. Since it was already talked about in an earlier meeting, I won’t go into too much detail. I really enjoyed it and found that even though it is a non-fiction book with a lot of detail; it is written in a more narrative style that makes it easy and entertaining to read. I definitely recomend the book! The Library has two hardback copies and I believe it is also available on Overdrive.
